At any given time I probably have anywhere from a couple to several dozen birds available for sale because we are constantly either raising wee ones or culling our stock of breeding stock to improve the quality. For stock birds I usually ask $15 to $25.00 for a laying hen $3 to $7.00 for chicks (2 weeks to 3 months old) $5 to $15.00 for Roosters depending on breed and age. Breeding Birds such as Black Copper Marans are priced differently.  Stock birds are considered birds from my non-breeding pens.  They will include some full bred and mixed bred birds from the following breeds: Ameraucanas, All colors of Brahmas, Speckled Sussex, Australorps, Black Langshans, Buff Orpingtons, Cuckoo Marans, Barred Rock and Partridge Rock.  All of our stock birds will be bred to our free ranging Black Copper Roosters.  Our Salmon Faverolle and Cochin Roosters are penned separately with their own brood of hens.  The Black Copper Roos are free roaming with all hens including our black copper hens.
